Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde admits signing a replacement for Andres Iniesta is an impossible task.
Speaking for the first time since Iniesta's confirmation of his summer exit, the Blaugrana boss intimated that he will have to be inventive to cover for the club captain's absence.
"I have spoken with Andres," confirmed Valverde in his pre-match press conference. "But I won't
say what about.
"But we're not going to cheat, Iniesta is an irreplaceable player.
"It is difficult to think that we are going to find a similar one. When a player of this level leaves, you have to look for a new balance."
