WWE: The Undertaker still remain under contract with WWE - and how much WWE are still paying him

The Undertaker remains under contract with the WWE - and could yet return to the screen.

It had appeared that Taker, one of the WWE's most
legendary superstars, had retired when he lost to Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania earlier this year.

The Deadman, 52, left the ring to a standing ovation and chants of "Thank you, Taker " in Orlando.
He left his trademark hat and coat in the squared circle as he headed back up the ramp for what seemed to be the final time.

But Taker remains under contract by company, with a whole four years still reportedly remaining on his part-time deal.

According to Total Sportek, Taker, real name Mark Calaway, is earning $1.75million (£1.33m) from the contract.

The deal could be run down with sporadic appearances at WWE calendar events, while he is also scheduled to appear at the Ace Comic Con in Uniondale, New York on December 8.
