Meet the three-year-old football star already being chased by top Premier League clubs

Jaxon Lal was spotted by club scouts after learning his
skills from mum Joanne Radcliffe who practices football
with her sons every day.

A three-year-old footballer has been headhunted by
Manchester City after his mum posted a video of his sporty
skills online.

Jaxon Lal is due to meet with academy coaches after a
scout for the club spotted his mum’s post on Facebook .
And the ambitious tot - who learnt all his skills from mum
Joanne Radcliffe - hopes to one day be as good as his
heroes Lionel Messi and Christiano Ronaldo.

Joanne practices football with Jaxon and his brother Riley,
four, every day but never dreamed that her son would be
spotted by professionals.

She said: “I posted the video of Jaxon playing in the garden
on Facebook and it was shared once by Riley’s under 6’s
team Medlock Juniors.

“Next thing I had a call from a City scout. I couldn’t believe
it - I thought it was a wind up at first.”

Lifelong Manchester United supporter Joanne, from
Droylsden, said her boys quickly switched their allegiance to
the Blues when she got the call from City coaches, reports
the Manchester Evening News .

She believes Jaxon will be one of the youngest children ever
invited along to the club’s academy when he visits for a trial.
She added: “They didn’t realise he was only three. More photo after the cut.

“Jaxon can’t wait. It’s like Christmas for him every day. He
keeps asking how long he has to wait until he can play.”
Jaxon and Riley practice their football skills with Joanne in
the back garden of their home on Sandy Lane every day.

The mum-of-two said both boys are great little sportsmen
and she now hopes that both lads could be in with a chance
of a professional career in football.

She added: “Jaxon has only been playing for five months
and really got interested when Riley started playing with
Medlock Juniors. He is brilliant for his age and he is tiny.

“I knew he was good and thought maybe one day someone
might see something in him but never thought he’d be so
young when he was spotted.
