Super Eagles Coach Gernot Rohr Has Finally Listed In-Form Simy And Moffi For Friendly Match Against Cameroon



Nigeria Super Eagles manager Gernot Rohr has listed the in-form duo of Crotone of Italy striker Simy Nwankwo and Lorient of France Forward Tyren Moffi in his squad for the upcoming friendly match between Nigeria and Cameroon that will take place in Vienna Austria.

Rohr listed 35 players, although the squad will be cut down to 23 by the coach before June 4 when the match would be played.



Simy Nwankwo is of the highest goal scorer this season in the Italian Seria A with 19goals so far while Moffi has also scored 14 goals in the French league this season for Lorient.



Some other new faces included in the squad are Abraham Marcus of CD Fereinse Portugal, Sadiq Umar of Almeria Spain secunda league and Peter Olayinka of Sparta Prague .

The last time Super Eagles played against the indomitable lion of Cameroon was at the 2018 Africa cup of nation in Egypt where Nigeria defeated the Cameroon in the round of 16.
