Nigeria Super Falcon striker Asisat Oshola yesterday created another history for herself as she became the first female footballer from Africa to win the UEFA Women Champions League.
Last season Oshoala set another record as she became the first African to play and score in the Women's Champions League final as they lost 4-1 to Lyon.
The 26years old Oshoala has also won the African female footballer of the year for the record fourth time equalling with Perpetual Nkwocha .
Oshoala began her football career with Fc Robo of Lagos before she moved to Rivers Angels, she move from Rivers State to Europe to team up with the Liverpool ladies from where she joined Arsenal ladies and won the FA cup in 2016. Oshoala later traveled to China to join Dalian Quanjian where she won the Chinese women super league and also became the league top scorer with 12 goals in 2017.
The Champions League title is the latest honour she has won in her career, already this season her 15 goals have helped Barcelona Femeni retain the Primera Division crown, to add to the Spanish Cup and Super Cup.
At the moment the Barcelona forward has won the African women cup of nation with Super Falcon three times and also reached the second round of the women world cup.
