Nigeria football federation NFF today reduced the number of players invited for the international friendly match against the indomitable lion of Cameroon to 24 with some key players left out.
In a revised list released on their verified Twitter handle, key players like Samuel Chukwueze, Leon Balogun, Joseph Aribo, Zaidu sanusi, Semi Ajayi, Henry Onyekuru, Sadiq Umar and goalkeeper ikeckuwu Ezemwa are left out.
Nigeria’s Super Eagles are set to take on the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in two separate friendlies in Austria next month.
The three-time African champions will take on their arch-rivals at the Weiner Neustadt Stadium in Austria on Friday, June 4, as part of preparations for the World Cup qualifying series.
Meanwhile Villarreal of Spain winger Samuel Chukwueze is set to face Manchester United on Wednesday after he recovered from injury he sustained against Arsenal in the Semi-final of the Europa league.
