Real Madrid wants Pochenttino to replace Zidane

Real Madrid want Tottenham's Mauricio Pochettino as their new head coach following Zinedine Zidane’s decision to leave, Sky sources understand.

Real have not spoken to Pochettino and Tottenham sources have told Sky Sports News that no buyout clause exists in Pochettino's new five-year contract, which he signed only last week .

Those sources also deny there is a verbal agreement for Pochettino to be granted permission to discuss a La Liga move.

Zidane resigned from Real Madrid on Thursday, less than a week after becoming the first coach to win the Champions League in three consecutive seasons following the 3-1 victory over Liverpool in last weekend's final.
