WWE Announces Kickoff Show and Start Time For The Greatest Royal Rumble

WWE has announced the Greatest Royal Rumble event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Friday, April 27, will have a special one-hour Kickoff show before the event gets started.

The Kickoff show will stream live from Jeddah’s King Abdullah Sports City Stadium on the WWE Network at 11 a.m. ET. The actual event will kick off at 12 p.m. ET on the WWE Network as well.

For the first time in company history, the Royal Rumble will include 50 participants. As of now, Daniel Bryan, Kane, Big Show, Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt have been announced as participants in the big match.

WWE previously announced that not only will all of the company’s top male stars be present, the show will feature seven men’s championship matches. The WWE Championship, Universal Championship, Intercontinental, United States, Raw Tag Team Titles, Smackdown Tag Team Titles, and Cruiserweight Championship will all be defended at the Greatest Royal Rumble.

Also announced for the show are the following:

*John Cena vs. Triple H
*Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match: Seth Rollins vs. The Miz vs. Finn Balor vs. Samoa Joe
*Raw Tag Team Championship: Hardy Boyz vs. Sheamus & Cesaro

The card is subject to change should the tag titles change hands on Sunday at WrestleMania.

Noticeably missing from these announcements is WWE’s women. As reported earlier, female Superstars apparently will not perform on the show, due to Saudi Arabia’s laws banning women from sporting events. This is the first show on WWE’s 10-year deal in Saudi Arabia.
