Cameroon's football Legend Samuel Eto'o featured in France 24's story of the day, where he was allegedly said to have acknowledged the fact that he wants to run for Cameroon's presidential elections.
This is a second occurrence of such. It was first made mention by #Afrimag# a magazine that gists on African celebs.
Samuel Eto'o Fils' décision could have been inspired by famous footballer George Weah who currently is President of Liberia. His path to victory was paved by his popularity gained from his career, both home and abroad.
Samuel Eto'o Fils paid him a visit ahead of his inauguration. In this visit, they had a tête-a-tête discussion.
It is suspected that the content of their talks focused on Samuel Eto'o's aim to run the race too.
