The Undertaker to Face Jericho in Casket Match in Saudi Arabia

The Undertaker's opponent for his match in Saudi Arabia at the Greatest Royal Rumble has been changed to six-time WWE world champion Chris Jericho.

The veteran, who competed for the first time in more than a year last weekend at WrestleMania 34 when he defeated John Cena, had been scheduled to go up against Rusev in a casket match on April 27 in Jeddah at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium.

But the WWE on Thursday announced that the Deadman, himself a seven-time WWE world champion, will now be stepping in the ring with Jericho, who himself has not been in action in a WWE ring since July.

It will be the first time ever that the two have gone head-to-head in a singles match on a WWE Network Special. The closest they have previously come was a triple threat match at Survivor Series in 2009 with The Big Show also competing.

The rules to a casket match are that both men must try and get the other one in an open casket, with the winner being the one who achieves this and shuts the casket door on their opponent to close it.
