Pep Guardiola has told his Manchester City players the Premier League title is a bigger prize than the Champions League.
City went out of the Champions League to Liverpool in midweek, with Guardiola urging his players to get over that disappointment by clinching the title to confirm their domestic dominance.
Guardiola admitted his players were left deflated after the European exit to Liverpool but said they must raise themselves for Saturdau's trip to Tottenham.
“Of course it's not easy,” said Guardiola. “They are human beings and they are disappointed, because they did absolutely everything.
“But now we have the most important title in the season by far.
