LA Galaxy have emerged as favourites to land Wayne Rooney should he leave Manchester United.
The Sun says Rooney has been told by Jose Mourinho that he must leave Old Trafford to get first-team football.
United captain Rooney, who turned 31 yesterday, has not started in the club's last four matches, and has three years remaining on his deal.
Ladbrokes have put LA Galaxy as the favourites to sign Rooney at just 4/1, with any Chinese club next on 5/1.
His old team Everton are close on the list with odds of 10/1.
