Anthony Joshua vs Wladimir Klitschko could be announced NEXT WEEK, admits Eddie

IBF World heavyweight champion is still without an opponent for his Manchester date next month but Hearn believes a super fight with the Ukrainian is close.

Anthony Joshua vs Wladimir Klitschko could be announced next week, Eddie Hearn has revealed. The IBF World heavyweight champion is still to find an opponent for his November 26 date at the Manchester Arena.

After Tyson Fury pulled out of his rematch with Klitschko, the Ukrainian has been searching for an opponent too and now promoter Hearn has revealed he could bring news of a deal next week.

"We're getting close now. Things have changed, opportunities have arisen," Hearn told Sky Sports at ringside for Ricky Burns' WBA Super Lightweight world championship defence on Friday. "Maybe my smiles gives it away!

"Everybody is working to make sure that this [Joshua vs Klitschko] is the next fight. We really want to get this done and when all parties want to get something done, it usually happens.
"It should be the  next fight. Fingers crossed we get there."

Hearn also admitted if AJ's next opponent is Klitschko, then the date could move back to December in order to promote it adequately. "If it's Wlad, there's a good chance it will be pushed into December," confessed Hearn. "This is the biggest fight in the
heavyweight division.

"It feels like it should have a long run [to promote it]. Every day that passes, every hour that passes, it's more positive."
