Chelsea Legend John Terry Trolls Spurs Fans By Waving Imaginary Trophy After Song Jibe

England and Chelsea legend John Terry ruthlessly mocks Tottenham fans over their trophy drought during Aston Villa's 2-1 victory on Wednesday night.

The now Aston Villa assistant manager received some flak from a large segment of the 10,000 Spurs fans in attendance when they started singing 'Oh Ledley, he's only got one knee, he's better than John Terry' – the two former England CBs are on opposite benches.

But the ex-Chelsea captain gave them a taste of their own medicine and responded by waving an imaginary trophy, poking fun at the club's failure to win a single cup since 2008.

John Terry's mocking of Tottenham continued on his Instagram handle after the match, sharing a post about his light-hearted riposte alongside 17 trophy emojis and two laughing faces.

The 40-year-old Terry, who retired from playing back in 2018, is one of England's most decorated players, having won 17 major trophies during his 19-year stay at Stamford Bridge.
