Brentford have been promoted to the Premier League after 74 years

Brentford will play in the top flight next season for the first time in 74 years after beating Swansea 2-0 in the Championship play-off final.
Brentford will be the 50th club to play in the Premier League and 10th from London next season, the Premier League 30th season.Thus 50 of 92 league clubs, or 54%, will have played PL football at some point.

This is the first time in the club history, first time in the top division of English football since 1947. As recently as 2009 the club was in the fourth tier.
