Former Super Eagles Goalkeeper Becomes First Nigerian To Qualify a Team For The UEFA Champions League As a Coach


Ex Super Eagles goalie Ndubuisi Egbo’s Fk Tirana becomes the champions of Albanian league for 2019-2020 season.

Tirana were confirmed champions with two matches to spare after second placed Kukesi lost 1-0 at struggling Vllaznia on Sunday.

Fk Tirana recorded the biggest away win in the course of the season with a 0-5 win over Luftëtari on June 7, 2020. They also had the longest winning run of seven matches and a longest unbeaten run of 14 matches in the course of the 2019/2020 Kategoria Superiore.

With this achievement, 46year  Egbo has now led Tirana to next season’s UEFA Champions League qualification stage to becomes the first Nigerian or African coach to achieve this feat.
