Angelique Kerber beat 7-time champion Serena Williams in straight sets to win her first Wimbledon title.
The German 11th seed, 30, beat the 23-time Grand Slam champion 6-3 6-3 to add this title to her 2016 Australian Open and US Open crowns.
Kerber broke Serena's serve in the first game of the match but Serena bounced back to level things up at 3-3. From there Kerber won three games on the bounce to take the first set.
