It's a  sad end for Argentina and Messi as they crashed out of the World Cup after an exhilarating game that would ran among the World Cup classics.

France are through, not convincingly though. But they wouldn't care. The Les Blues will take on either Uruguay or Portugal next.

Two goals from Mbappe, Pavard and Greizmann was enough to secure a quarter final spot for the French team that won by 4 goals to 3.

Meanwhile Barcelona star Lionel Messi might  have played his last World Cup game. You never know though.
