Novak Djokovic is set to play his first major match since Wimbledon at the World Tennis Championship in December.
The world number seven, whose season ended early with elbow damage, is slated for the Abu Dhabi exhibition from 28 to 30 December.
"The line-up is exceptionally solid and it will be the ideal approach to make my comeback and start the season,"Djokovic said.
French Open finalist Stan Wawrinka is additionally set to make his arrival there. The Swiss world number nine ended his season in August as a result of a knee injury.
The Abu Dhabi exhibition is held two weeks previously the begin of the Australian Open, the main Grand Slam competition of the season.
