The Gunners have reportedly earmarked the France international as the ideal replacement for Alexis Sanchez, who is expected to depart north London in January.
However, Arsenal look set to be disappointed in their pursuit of Benzema, with the forward’s representative ruling out the move.
"Karim Benzema is very happy at Real Madrid," Karim Djaziri told Sky Sports News.
"He signed a contract extension last month and has absolutely no intention of leaving the club."
