Barcelona star and Argentina captain Leo Messi rates Mesut Ozil ahead of Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho.
Both player have been linked with Barcelona ahead of the January market.
Don Balon reports that Messi has told Barca chiefs to go for Arsenal man Ozil next summer instead of Philippe Coutinho.
Messi feels Ozil would be a great buy compared to the Liverpool playmaker.
The German is out of contract in June and yet to settle on new terms with the Gunners.
However Liverpool have, rejected three bids from Barcelona in the summer for Coutinho, 25, and rate him at €200m
