Arsenal to ward off Barcelona, Man City with 5-year Bellerin offer

A rsenal are looking to stave off interest from Barcelona and Manchester City in Hector Bellerin by offering him a brand new contract.

Since breaking into the Arsenal first team back in 2014, Bellerin has quickly gone on to establish himself as arguably one of the finest young right-backs in Europe and as a result of his fine performances over the last few years, the likes of former club Barcelona and City have registered an interest in the 21-year-old.

Arsenal are clearly intent on keeping hold of Bellerin though and now according to reports from the Daily Mirror, claims have been made that the Gunners are ready to offer the defender a lucrative brand new five-year contract in order to ward off any potential approach from rival clubs.

Bellerin has three years remaining on his current contract wth the Gunners but North London chiefs are determined to tie him down with a new long-term deal.
