Chelsea accused of 'cutting out' Conte from preseason reports

Chelsea are being accused of completely 'cutting out' Antonio Conte from their preseason.

Conte was at Chelsea yesterday for the first day of pre-season training, but he was never mentioned or seen on the club website.

Chelsea are determined to remove Conte and bring in Maurizio Sarri, but must wait for Sarri to terminate his contract by mutual consent with Napoli.

Meanwhile, Chelsea players started pre-season training at Cobham on Saturday and the club site posted a gallery of pictures from the session.

Notable by his absence was Conte, although reporters on site assured he was in attendance along with his staff.
