Some weeks after Nike released the Super Eagles World Cup kits that made a splash among football fans worldwide, the team’s travel gear to the mundial in Russia is also turning heads.
The green and white coloured outfit, which features a chest-covering embroidered eagle alongside matching hats and shoes, was put together by Esimaje Awani.
Mr Jollof, in a now-viral video, berated the media for not celebrating his designs as they celebrated Nike’s jersey designs.
Awani, the CEO of GT Stitches, is said to be a Nigerian-Canadian.
Awani is a Warri, Delta state-based designer who specialises in making male and female kaftans.
