Wrestling : Brock Lesnar Reportedly set to Miss Money in the Bank

Looks like fans aren’t going to be happy about Brock Lesnar’s possible schedule for this summer.

Wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer from F4Wonline has reported that Brock Lesnar, despite holding the Universal Championship, is not scheduled for WWE’s upcoming Money in the Bank PPV on June 17.

This may come as a surprise to some since Lesnar has supposedly signed a short-term deal with WWE. But then again, Lesnar could be only scheduled to defend his title at this year’s Summerslam in August, which is around the time his new deal is apparently ending (via F4Wonline).

With that being said, news like this will probably annoy many wrestling fans due to the fact that the Raw brand still hasn’t had a full-time world champion since early 2017.

It’s also worth noting that Lesnar’s part-time schedule could make Reigns look bad, as many perceive him as the “face” of the WWE despite not being able to win the universal title from Lesnar.

If WWE continues to book Reigns as the premiere star of the company, it would be a lot harder for fans to take him seriously if they book him to lose to Lesnar on multiple occasions.
