Guardiola praise Unai Emery

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola believes Unai Emery will further enhance the Premier League following his appointment as Arsenal manager.

The Gunners confirmed the appointment of the former PSG boss on Wednesday, the club having had a last minute change of heart regarding the potential hire of former midfielder Mikel Arteta.

"[Emery is a] top manager. His career speaks for itself," Guardiola said. "He did it perfectly in Spain with many teams - Valencia, Sevilla - and he did really well in France. So, welcome to England.

Another good manager is coming here." Emery has faced Guardiola 10 times in his managerial career, but has never won, drawing four and losing six matches.
