PSG willing to offer Wenger their presidency

Departing Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is in contact with PSG about a return to France.

The Mirror says Wenger will be offered the chance to become president of Paris Saint-Germain.

The Ligue 1 giants want the Frenchman to run the club with former Borussia Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel, who is set to replace manager Unai Emery, concentrating solely on first-team affairs.

Wenger has had a hand in every aspect of Arsenal's football business during his 22 years at the club.

And PSG want to tap into his extensive knowledge of the game and its politics, as well as his unrivalled contacts book.

The Frenchman announced on Friday that he would leave Arsenal at the end of the season, a year before his contract expires.
