Manchester City are ready to make Pep
Guardiola the richest paid manager in history.
The Mirror says Guardiola has landed a whopping £20million-a-year new deal at Manchester City.
The Catalan will become the best-paid manager in the world after agreeing a one-year extension when he took his squad to meet owner Sheikh Mansour and chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarek in
Abu Dhabi last month.
Guardiola, who has just over 12 months left on the deal he signed in the summer of 2016, will now be staying with City until at least 2020.
The 47-year-old and his family are settled in Manchester and he wants to build on winning the title in record time with a squad that is still some
years from reaching its peak.
