Sensational Sane wins premiere league player of the month of October

Leroy Sane has claimed the premier League player of the month award for October after helping Manchester City to three wins from three games throughout the month.

The 21-year-old was a formidable force for pep Guardiola's side as he provided a goal and an assist in each of their three games, including a stunning strike against West Brom to set them on course for a 3-2 victory.

His contributions in front of goal went unmatched throughout October to make him a deserved winner while Pep Guardiola's 100 per cent record also saw him collect the manager of the month award for a second consecutive month.

Sane beat off the challenge from five other players to win the award, including his own team-mate Kevin De Bruyne, Arsenal defender Nacho Monreal, Brighton's Glenn Murray, Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope and Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha.
