Real Madrid midfielder and Spanish star Isco admitted team-mate Gareth Bale is struggling after suffering his latest injury setback.
The 28-year-old, who has made just nine appearances in all competitions this season, was in line to return to Madrid's line-up ahead of next week's derby against city rivals Atletico Madrid until picking up the injury.
'Gareth has been injured for a long time,' Madrid ace Isco said before Spain's international friendly against Costa Rica on Saturday. 'He's having a hard time.
'Bale has not featured for the Spanish and European champions since the injury he picked up at Dortmund towards the end of September.
His latest setback means he could miss some key fixtures including El Clasico against Barcelona on December 23.
