For former Barcelona players, the most hated figure at Real
Madrid in recent years has been uncovered.
Speaking on Catalunya RÃ dio, pundit Javier Miguel says the
former Real player who Barca despised was Xabi Alonso ,
now of Bayern Munich .
During his time at Real, Xabi left Barca players furious with
his antics, including Xavi, who refused to share publicity
shots with the former Liverpool man and lobbied Vicente del
Bosque to ban him from the Spain team.
Barca players were convinced Xabi set out to hurt them in
tackles, Miguel also claimed he spat at Andres Iniesta in the
semifinals of the 2011 Champions League.
Miguel says Xabi even mocked Barca ace Javier
Mascherano , saying: "You shut up, you at Liverpool worked
for me..."
Real go to Barca this weekend for the first El Clasico of the
season.
