Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Man United BOTH set unbelievable records against Burnley

It was a day to forget for the not-so super Swede and his club at Old Trafford.

Jose Mourinho was sent to the stands, Ander Herrera was sent off and Manchester United dropped two Premier League points at home to Burnley.

As days for the Old Trafford club go, it wasn't one of the best , as they lost further ground on some of their title rivals following last weekend's harrowing 4-0 loss at Chelsea.

And the game produced a couple of remarkable stats about both the team and the man they signed in the summer in order to get them goals.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic endured another nightmare afternoon in front of goal, as he attempted 12 shots and was constantly denied by either inaccuracy or Burnley's Tom Heaton.

*6 - Zlatan Ibrahimovic has gone six league games without
scoring for the first time since December 2007 with Inter
Milan.

And that meant that the Swede has now gone six league matches without finding the net for the first time in NINE years.

*37 - Manchester United's total of 37 shots is their most in
a Premier League game since 2003/04 (Opta records
began).

What's more, with their 37 efforts on goal United set a record for their most Premier League shots in a game since Opta's records began.

And they failed to score any of them.
