Sergio Aguero Set To Return For Man City Tonight

Striker Aguero, is one game into a three-match domestic
suspension but is able to face Monchengladbach.

Summer signing Gundogan has yet to play for City because of
a dislocated knee.
The former Borussia Dortmund midfielder, 25, has been out
since May.
City boss Pep Guardiola said: "Gundogan every day and every
week is much, much better."

The Spaniard also revealed defender and club captain Vincent
Kompany is nearing a return to first-team action.
The Belgian, 30, has not played this season because of a thigh
problem that caused him to miss this summer's European
Championship in France.

"Vincent is in the same situation - he's training hard," added
Guardiola. "All of the players who didn't face United did hard
training and he trained really good.

"They are almost there to help us play the next six games in
the next 18 days."
City beat derby rivals Manchester United 2-1 on Saturday to
maintain their 100% start to the season under Guardiola and
stay top of the Premier League.
City reached the Champions League semi-finals last season -
the same stage at which Guardiola's Bayern Munich were
eliminated.

The Spaniard, who won three successive league titles during
his time in Germany, admits it will be tough to win Europe's
premier club competition in his debut campaign in
Manchester.

Pep Guardiola only lost nine league games in his time in
Germany and 22% of those defeats came at the hands of
Borussia Monchengladbach
In six league games across three season in the Bundesliga,
Guardiola's record against Monchengladbach was won two,
lost two, drawn two

"I have to be honest, I would have to be a really good coach
to win the Champions League this season," he added. "I will
try but the history is the history.

"If they believed I failed in Munich because I didn't win the
Champions League I have to accept that but I never said it is
how I would be judged.

"I just try to analyse things to improve because you can
always do better. We did good things and not so good things.
"If we don't achieve it, it is because others have been better
than us."

Monchengladbach reached the group stage after beating Swiss
side Young Boys 9-2 on aggregate in the play-off round.
"I understand Manchester City might be trying to soften
expectations but they have incredible strength," said
Monchengladbach boss Andre Schubert.

"Manchester City has a great chance to win one or two
trophies."
The visitors will be without Germany midfielder Patrick
Herrmann because of a groin injury.
