Leicester want "revenge" on Manchester United admits Claudio Ranieri

Claudio Ranieri is sure Leicester are better now than when they lost in the Community Shield – and he admits they want “revenge” over Manchester United.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s late header condemned the champions to a 2-1 defeat at Wembley in the season’s curtain-raiser on August 7.
But Leicester have since strengthened by recruiting £28million striker Islam Slimani, who scored twice on his Premier League debut against Burnley.

Now Ranieri says the Foxes have nothing to fear and are ready to snap at Jose Mourinho’s Reds , with Jamie Vardy hungry for goals.

A weakened Leicester side lost in the EFL Cup to Chelsea in midweek but had previously recorded successive 3-0 wins over Club Brugge and Burnley in the Champions League and
Premier League.

Ranieri said: “United beat us in the Community Shield, and we want revenge.
“Now we are in a good condition and I think we have to push and keep the momentum going and then we will see.

“In this moment we are pushing so hard to try to get better and, of course, our fitness is much better than one month ago when the season started and we are confident to continue to play well.

“We try to win. This is our philosophy. We are fearless.

Why are we scared to go there? When you play these big teams, you have to think about yourself and be strong. You hope for their bad moment and try to score a goal.
